About the event
This course is for people who are curious to know more about Buddhism and how the teachings of the Buddha that have been taught about 2500 years ago can still give us guidance and benefit us in our modern world today.
The course will cover some basics on Buddhism and a brief overview of:
The life of the Buddha and his first teachings,
The three vehicles in Buddhism (Foundational Vehicle, Mahayana and Vajrayana),
The Four Thoughts that turn the mind to the Dharma (The Precious Human Life, Impermanence and Death, Karma and Causality and the Defects of Samsara)
Entering the path and taking refuge,
