About the event

We are delighted to welcome Dennis Pearce from Kagyu Samye Dzong London to help us host a special event, the first Death Café in KSD Dublin.

A Death Café is a unique social gathering where people come together over tea and cake to discuss death and dying in a safe, respectful, and open environment.

Why a Death Café?

How often do we get the chance to talk openly about death, dying and grief? These are experiences that touch all our lives, yet they can be difficult to speak about, even with those closest to us.

In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, reflecting on impermanence is not morbid—it is a way to live a more meaningful and fulfilled life. This is a space for anyone who is curious, anyone who has experienced loss, or anyone who simply wants to talk about life’s biggest questions without fear or taboo.
